Dr. Nicholas Levergood

Dr. Levergood is a physician specializing in oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery, currently completing his fellowship in the St. Louis Combined ASOPRS Fellowship under Drs. John Holds, Philip Custer, Adam Buchanan, Steven Couch, and Robi Maamari.
Dr. Levergood obtained his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Brandeis University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and served on the campus EMT corps. He was admitted early to Tufts University School of Medicine through the Early Assurance Program, where he earned his medical degree in 2020 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors and received the Dublin Prize in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Levergood completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he served as Surgical Chief Resident and received the OKAP Award for outstanding performance on the Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program examination.
He then completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology, followed by a year on faculty as an attending physician practicing inpatient and outpatient comprehensive ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology. He is board certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
